Find answers to common questions about how AnyKoma credits work, including expiration, rollover, and what happens to your credits in different scenarios.
Credit Expiration
Do my monthly credits expire?
Yes, but with rollover. Unused subscription credits don’t simply vanish—they roll over to the next month, up to your plan’s rollover limit.

When exactly do my credits refresh?
Credits refresh on your billing date each month. If you subscribed on January 15th, your credits refresh on the 15th of each month.
The exact time matches when you originally subscribed (e.g., if you signed up at 3:00 PM, renewal happens around 3:00 PM on your billing date).
Do top-up credits expire?
No. Credits purchased as top-ups never expire as long as your paid subscription remains active.
If you cancel your subscription, top-up credits become inaccessible until you resubscribe.
Rollover System
How does credit rollover work?
At the start of each billing cycle:
- We calculate how many unused credits you have
- We cap that at your plan’s rollover limit
- We add your monthly credits to the rollover amount
Example (Pro Plan - 500 monthly, 250 rollover limit):
- End of Month 1: You have 300 credits remaining
- Rollover: min(300, 250) = 250 credits saved
- Month 2 starts: 250 (rollover) + 500 (new) = 750 credits
What happens to credits above the rollover limit?
Credits exceeding your rollover limit are lost at renewal. In the example above, 50 credits (300 - 250) were lost.
Tip: If you’re consistently hitting your rollover cap, consider upgrading to a higher plan or using credits before renewal.
Which credits are used first?
Rollover credits are consumed before your new monthly credits. Top-up credits are used last, after all subscription credits are exhausted.
Usage order:
- Rollover credits (oldest first)
- Monthly subscription credits
- Top-up credits
Can I see my rollover balance?
Yes! Your total credit balance is shown in the dashboard header. This includes both rollover credits and new monthly credits combined.
Subscription Changes
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You can continue using credits until then
- At period end, remaining subscription credits are lost
- Top-up credits become inaccessible (but are restored if you resubscribe)
What happens if I upgrade my plan?
When you upgrade:
- Your current credit balance carries over
- Your rollover limit increases to the new plan’s limit
- You receive the difference in monthly credits immediately (prorated)
What happens if I downgrade my plan?
When you downgrade:
- Takes effect at your next billing cycle
- Your rollover limit decreases to the new plan’s limit
- Credits exceeding the new rollover limit are lost at transition
- Tip: Use excess credits before downgrading
Payment & Billing
What if my payment fails?
If payment fails:
- Your subscription enters a grace period
- You cannot use credits during this period
- Stripe will retry the payment automatically
- Update your payment method in your profile settings to restore access
What if I abandon checkout without completing payment?
No credits are granted until payment is successfully processed. If you start checkout but don’t complete it:
- No subscription is created
- No credits are added to your account
- You can restart checkout anytime from the pricing page
Are credits refundable?
Monthly subscription credits are not refundable as they’re part of your subscription service. See our refund policy for details.
Top-Up Credits
Who can purchase top-up credits?
Only users with an active paid subscription (Starter, Pro, or Master) can purchase top-up credits. Free plan users must upgrade first.
What are the top-up options?

Do I lose top-up credits if I cancel?
Top-up credits are preserved but become inaccessible when your subscription ends. If you resubscribe later, your top-up credits are restored.
Troubleshooting
Why didn’t I receive credits after subscribing?
Credits are typically granted within seconds of successful payment. If you don’t see your credits:
- Refresh your browser
- Sign out and back in
- Check your email for payment confirmation
- Contact support if credits don’t appear within 5 minutes
I was charged but don’t have credits
This is rare but can happen due to processing delays. Please:
- Wait 5 minutes and refresh
- Check your payment method for the charge
- Contact support with your payment receipt
